Audio Engineering Sample
Shameer Lorde let the music guide him on this track. It wasn’t his intention, but it became clear during the process that this song wanted to evoke the feeling of a playing a retro video game when you’re character is just cruising down a digital highway. He wanted to make sure to keep the vibes funky, using an unusual bass sound and fuller melodic elements.

This soulful audio track was mixed to allow the vocals to speak for themselves while providing a dynamic instrumental background. The EQs, compressors and reverb were all manipulated to bring forth the emotion in the music and create a depth to carry its weight.

This podcast theme was created for a talk show style podcast targeted to men between the ages of 25 to 40. It was meant to be an afro-beats inspired audio introduction that gave off a fun yet modern vibe.
